I'll probably try Project Rubi-ka when they reopen the servers/help them out with some bug hunting, since Anarchy Online, despite its flaws, is still the best MMORPG I've played to date.... which is kinda sad tbh

There are people out there who genuinely try to help others out with providing a reference - probably something that gets discussed outside of a general post like this (saw something similar mentioned on Reddit or maybe it was twitter years ago?), however there are also those who seem to take either take a payment for it or provide a half-assed reference.

I had an experience with requesting a reference for a hire we needed to urgently get onboard. Took it upon myself to keep chasing them for response (HR was useless in the company). And despite being seemingly provided three different people to contact (different names, numbers in different parts of country), this clown had one and the same person giving a very simple repetitive answer. Now you can expect references to sound similar, but if you're not gonna bother changing your voice (or asking different people to provide ref) at least make sure not to use the exact same uncommon phrase like an idiot.

I myself provided a reference to former colleagues before, written being easier as you get to think about what you want to say. Over the phone being but of a PITA, especially if they have specific questions and you don't necessarily have a good answer.

That's what happens when one side is pretty damn reasonable (IMO) and the other are greedy management cunts.

So there's a chance some starving Italians, who had nothing left to eat, decided to go for their sun dried ornamental tomatoes, putting olive oil and some herbs on them to try and save themselves from horrible flavour and....well it all makes sense now.

If nothing else, it's at least much closer to 3 days than some other "professional and best(?)/second best military in the world" lol

What is this disgusting educational content popping up in my meme feed

Sounds about right.
And thinking about it, sure you can't expect them to reveal whether they are doing anything in return, if it's secret/covert. But since we haven't really heard of anything that had negative impact happening in years, it's more likely that fuck all is being done.

That would be interesting, but more likely outcome is; "weeelll we drew this line in the sand, why don't we just draw it a little further back. And then we wait and see what happens". Pretty sad of you ask me

I've also seen them slap fake number plates on parked cars. E.g. when they were filming in Metro Vancouver area, for some US movie/TV show, they put California plates on all local cars that were parked on streets/driveways

Idiot couldn't handle his new toy in the rainy Metro Vancouver [OC]

Managed to hit the concrete barriers on both sides of a 3 lane highway. Luckily didn't hit anyone but traffic was about 3km long and hour later and caused another accident within the traffic jam itself.

Edit:grammar, and obligatory - I took the frame from my partner's video who captured it for me, as I was busy avoiding the debris scattered all over the highway trying not to get a puncture. I don't touch my phone while I drive, and hope you don't either.
