For three days in October Filmtheater Schauburg celebrates the world of LARGE FORMAT film, by offering a series of epic films in 70mm - the high definition of film formats.

(Includes the German premiere of the new 70mm BOOGIE NIGHTS print--a personal favorite)

Quite naive of me, but I assumed Costco prices were Costco prices. I needed gas, and was going to hit my local Costco--but realized there was one just a couple of miles away on my way home.

Filled up and then checked Gas Buddy. My "home" Costco was $4.99/gal and I had just paid $5.13/gal just 8 miles away.

Not a huge amount of money wasted, but sometimes it's the principle of the thing, you know? 😏

Agree or disagree, I found this rather thought-provoking.

One of the classic DVD commentaries. Not to be missed!

Arguably the greatest podcast episode about BOOGIE NIGHTS ever aired. #IMO

I think a little of it would go a long way for me, personally, but I'm curious about others experiences.

"John Verzi, who for six decades collected around 25,000 autographs and took more than 12,000 pictures..."

I must confess I felt an affinity with this gentleman. I've had a few of my own obsessive interests... ;-)

Came here to say Costco, too.

In an interesting development, this problem only appears for me while using Arc Browser. Vivaldi, Brave, Safari all display properly.

It's getting weirder: Firefox under Linux is not displaying the comments. Firefox under MacOS is fine.

I've been running the A14beta on my 7 Pro after reading a post by someone who said he was getting insanely great battery life after installing it. I can't quantify if it's better or by how much, but I don't regret the upgrade at this point.

I would miss Manjaro if it went away. I like how it (cliche alert) "just works".

Looks like the .apk is available on github?

I typically fall asleep to podcasts after starting them and putting the phone face-down on the bed near my head. A couple of nights ago the audio seemed noticeably quieter and muffled when I set it down. I knew the upper, front-firing speaker would be covered, so logically one of the two bottom-firing must be out... #wrongo

Yeah, nevermind. I'll leave this here in case someone else has a brain fart. 😏

My go-to daily driver on my Pixel 7 is the Kiwi Browser, but I use Mull for variety sometimes.

Best Buy locations are currently training employees

Good news if you have no other options, but I think I'd probably visit my local nerd shop that'd been doing it awhile before I'd go to Best Buy. (But I live in a giant Megalopolis with dozens of repair options.)

That feels like a lot. How does it compare to, say, Reddit?
