wdym even a shitty 50mbps connection is enough to watch stuff at 1080p
heck, even 3g/4g with it's unusable 10-15mbps is still good enough yo stream video at a decent quality
it only appears on linux if you update your browser while it's running.
iirc existing tabs usually just keep working but you cannot reload or open new ones until a full browser restart.
smart watch?
well the whole point of android is to isolate data between apps. that includes your file explorer app.
still crazy how there's no way to do unencrypted backups from data partition anymore though. the adb backups are deprecated and even though the command still exists it seems broken on android 13 and 14
also don't see how you could trigger it assuming it expects a very specific movement pattern that includes a sudden movement.
maybe by dropping your phone but that doesn't happen that often and having to unlock your phone again is the least of your concerns in that case
you have to sign out of your account before resetting the phone in order to prevent tripping the protection.
in case you trip it, you need to enter your credentials, your phone will reboot and do another wipe stage and then will jump right back to the OOBE, fully unlocked.
iirc the account is not actually saved, just verified
it got patched but they fixed/worked around it.
successfully activated my enterprise install by hwid in 2023
idk if it's optional why bother typing it
idk my a52s's underscreen sensor is pretty reliable.
it never failed on me, except when i was holding my finger in the wrong place (like only half of the finger on the sensor etc, and even then it allows for a surprising amount of leeway (like i was able to unlock it with 60% of my finger being off-sensor a couple of times), sometimes just requiring your to hold a finger for a bit longer)
probably they just implemented a trash can system in an extremely idiotic way like Samsung.
it's symmetrical encryption so the pin code is the private key, (or er, the key's derived from it)
but also Samsung still gets the network address of the repotting device which can be used to get approximate location
tbh i think "master" terminology is only bad if paired with "slave". the word itself kinda just lost it's original meaning
but I don't really care about git's change. im only using master out of habit
