this is a life well lived.
I'm entirely unashamed to admit that this is how I behave with my dog
I did that in my communications to their support staff.
I've also attempted to contact their legal dept directly with no luck.
Thank you for the heads up, just installed it and am playing around with AOD. Not sure if the wake gesture works properly with it enabled but it's nice to see nonetheless.
E: the AOD feature is cool, power use is approximately in line with the claims on the project page. It looks really nice (almost like it applies a monochrome effect to the UI) and is handy to have enabled during the day.
I think I would prefer the AOD mode go always show the watch face but maybe there's a case to show the last screen too. On the upside, device behaviour has changed for the watch to timeout from the settings and notficiations pages back to the watch face. Apps will still resume as before.
I seem to remember there was some antialiasing setting
Can you show us which in-game settings you have available? Has been a very long time since I last played FC5
I understand the regret but I kind of feel like a person's fight or flight response would be pretty strong in a situation like that.
If they realised they nearly hit you, I'm sure they'd come to understand why you did that. Here's hoping empathy prevails.
I feel validated by this response ๐
I don't have much to say besides I'm glad you're safe.
I've had a few near misses like that. I try not to lose my temper but sometimes the sweet release of calling a driver in the wrong a basic dickhead is too appealing.
It'd depend on their reaction. I'm happy to say they're apologetic more often than not. If they were clearly on their phone I'd probably cuss them out anyway.
E: I get maybe irrationally annoyed when they don't use their indicators though.
My guess is that this would have been decided around or just before September.
I don't have many friends left at Intel and I suppose I may never really know how this played out exactly, but it's rare for people in positions like this to voluntarily retire and step down.
did you? I recognised your reference too.
In any case, you had me chuckling, so thank you
It doesn't really compare in that the apple watch is a much more powerful device. I think of pinetime more as a fitness tracker sort of thing than a smart watch.
It's cute, doesn't do too many things, lasts about a week on a charge, uses regular 20mm watch bands (though has recessed lugs so can still be tricky) etc.
I use mine a lot for it's built in metronome to help me time static stretches.
