For the briskets I've done, I don't think the tallow improved the brisket but it was cool to have on hand as a fat replacement.

Did you make tallow with the trimmed fat?

Getting in some twilight rounds might be your best bet. Get to the course a couple hours before sunset and walk 9. You can play until you can’t see any more as long as you don’t have a cart out on the course.
If you take a cart, the boys in the cart barn probably won’t love this strategy

My wife makes these for special occasions and good god almighty they are good. They melt a bit at room temp but are so good out of the fridge
