Yeah, it is a bummer. But at this point, I'm old and used to it, and this is the fastest way to get traction on my ideas. ๐คท

I ask leading questions that make people think an idea is theirs. Business people love their own ideas. A woman's? Not so much.
We lost power for 48 hours, which wasn't so bad. The worst part was how messed up the roads were/are. We couldn't even get to a place with power to eat out. :/
Edit: Hobart still doesn't have power (currently stuck in traffic due to stop lights that are out). What s fucking mess...
Totally agree. In 2000, during the hanging chad debacle, I had a philosophy professor completely shift our class to the philosophy of voting. I found it endlessly fascinating and opened my thinking around voting. Here's some good info on the topic: https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/voting-methods/.
I'd pay $500 for a video of him saying "I'm a disgraced weirdo."
They were bad out in the cascade foothills (North bend, maple valley, enumclaw). Roads are still closed from downed trees and power lines, traffic lights are out, power is estimated to come back on in my area on Friday afternoon. A tree fell on my house, which is a really pain in the rear. I don't think the city got too much wind.
Then they aren't really about efficiency, are they? When properly set up, WFH for office work is very effective and efficient.
Maple Valley is in pretty bad shape. But Covington has power. And I think they're hoarding power in Federal Way
But I don't want a plot that differs from classics like Hot Frosty and Knight Before Christmas.
Also, vote for levies to fund local schools.
Misuse, or misjudging when to use it.
