I'm honestly surprised by how much trouble everyone is going through right now. Winds didn't seem bad on first hill, I'm guessing a lot of lines got knocked down by branches?
They were bad out in the cascade foothills (North bend, maple valley, enumclaw). Roads are still closed from downed trees and power lines, traffic lights are out, power is estimated to come back on in my area on Friday afternoon. A tree fell on my house, which is a really pain in the rear. I don't think the city got too much wind.
That sucks, sorry you're going through that. Hope the damage isn't too bad.
Does this happen often? I'm guessing no, based on how extensive the damage appears.
