Finally got some answers: https://lemmy.world/comment/485314 Admins looking into it

Why not? More options is better at this point, I would think. Eventually the dust will probably settle around 5-10 "main" ones as happened with Reddit.

Yea, fair, I'm just wondering if it's like a.. bug bug, or if it's something to do with like, configuring the number of federation workers, or doing something in PostgreSQL, either on our end or on Lemmyworld's end.

May be more than just visual. Check out this thread on my home instance, from my end these replies don't even show up.

Thanks, there are a number of them. I’ll DM you a list. (For future reference, do you have to fix this manually in Postgres?)

Communities that have been broken due to the bug regarding remote moderators are still unusable from outside lemmy.world, breaking federation: https://lemmy.world/post/209377

Assistance is needed from the administrators for all such communities.

Oh, haha. No, it gets 60-80 FPS with occasional peaks at 100+ at 5120x2160 :-), so I'm sure it would run far better at 1080P!

I notice improved performance with that off, but only by using the Metal FPS overlay and observing that it drops from like 100+ to ~60 FPS. It's not really noticeable on a 60hz monitor either way.

Wow, I'm surprised it's that much of a difference. What resolution are you running at?
