I spend most of my waking hours on a laptop because of work, so I browse reddit/lemmy on a desktop browser more than my phone.
It’s funny how when there’s no algorithm to dictate what you see, it’s furries and gay porn (for mastodon) that show up.

Account migration would definitely help. Most new users just go with the largest server because of FOMO and not understanding fully what federation is yet. Once they are comfortable enough, providing the ability to transfe their account to another instance would definitely be useful. Mastodon already allows you to do that.

This is great for making your feed more bearable. The only issue is it will also make the actual clickbait videos with trash content look legit, therefore making it hard to avoid them.
