Nostalgia. Loved the "In with the Out Crowd" album.

Edit: maaaan I forgot how good the video was!

I still haven't gotten into 3d printing, so take this with a grain of salt, but,

The technology is always improving. Waiting will always get you something more advanced, but if you have something you want to do with a 3D printer, just get one. Eventually you'll get a better one either way. If you'll have fun with it now and you have the time, jump in. :)

Yeah, I get the joke in the post, but anyone who listens to RatM should very quickly understand what "the machine" is.

Digimon World 1 on PS1. I still have the game guide and remember slowly figuring out how the evolution mechanic worked, by trial and error. Still love that game. Now there's an evolution guide online that'll help you get any mon you want.

FWIW, you can trust any information for that game posted by SydMontague. He knows that game (and most, if not all digimon games) inside and out.

I'm excited for you! If you like it, that is. There's a lot of game to enjoy, and if you do dig it you can carry over the save to the sequel. If you don't like it though, no pressure. There are so many other games out there to try. :)

Funkwhale is interesting, but feels more like a plex/subsonic/jellyfin server than a social media place. I can't follow artists on Funkwhale and listen to their latest posts. There isn't a "feed" anywhere, it's more like a giant shared-music server (unless I'm missing something).

So the arguement seems to be that electric vehicles are more cutting edge, and battery manufacturing and charging stations are a limiting factor, they need to "catch up" to the demand. Good points.

However, I will say, once I got an electric car and never had to go to a gas station ever again I never looked back. Not having to pump smelly gasoline into my car feels like such a luxury. Not burning gas an emitting CO2 makes me feel good. Not being able to go on long car trips without planning charge stops is a trade off, but for me personally, the road trips are few and far between compared to how frequently I'd need to pump gas.

There's a fedi.tips post bot that seems to post roughtly daily? It's been great for slowly absorbing information as I get used to the platform. (Though I might be confusing it with something on mastodon?) If anyone can help me with specifics here please do.
