Perhaps less so if in a couple months it turns out that the contract went to one of Musk's companies. Having a large amount of money to spend on something intangible can also be very useful.

.world and a majority of the fediverse uses Hetzner afaik.

EDIT: According to Fedidb Hetzner is the most common ASN (excluding Cloudflare).

What are your thoughts on how political ideologies should be mapped or compared?

I feel like one scale (left/right) to represent all of politics is such a generalization that most models based on it are pointless

I considered that too (the ploy, not the brilliant part) when he initially started changing his tone, but it didn't take long before I realized that was very unlikely. His response the diver that rescued those kids in the flooded cave really sealed it for me realize that he's just a man with too much money and not enough sense.

I think they mean not having enough money to fill the gap between what he receives from selling it and what is required to buy his desired alternative car.

MySQL wouldn’t win any single event, but would get high scores all around for unknown reasons.

There are a lot of companies running XAMP / LAMP stacks, for some reason.

MongoDB would be at the front desk trying to convince the judges to let it enter, and while doing that would accidentally drop a suitcase filled with business and government secrets.

But haven't you heard? It's webscale!

I see Lemmy users are now back to praising violence with no backstory. Now their own incompetence caused them to lose to Trump

Damn, Lemmy must be really influential if 40k people can make Trump win by complaining online.

Please use a direct link instead of a link to a mastodon post next time (Rule 3)

It was to be expected but I didn't think it would be public this soon

I don't see how an accessible language should also need to be able to be used for system programming. A simpler python seems like a better option.

Yeah, it's fine don't worry about it

Jon Stewart examines the choice undecided voters are facing in the 2024 election: Kamala Harris, who has an impressive résumé and specific policy plans, versus Donald Trump, whose vision, consistency on issues, anti-labor ethos, and militaristic posturing are at odds with the caricature his followers have created for him.
