Kinda makes sense that multiple containers might scale better. The actual processes within the container may have some limitations in terms of how well they thread etc.

If you're having issues with stuff that's coming up after devices but before getting an IP, you might want to try putting another service as a dependency (dhcp client service maybe).
You may also be falling victim to interface "allow-hotplug" setting. IIRC one of my systems I had to change this in the interfaces configuration to ensure the interface was up fully before other stuff started.
A good joystick or even gamepad can help a fair bit with the control. Keyboard sometimes felt... complicated

Even if it requires some screws to swap that's still good for breathing extra life into old phones.
I had multiple models of Surface Pro. The first several generations ran great on Linux, but the later models got hella expensive without offering much new for the price. I ended up with a Lenovo X12 which is similar in turn factor but had more storage/RAM/power for less price

Was trying to show a friend a video of what a particular game mod looks like the other day, and everything was videos of people going over painstaking details on how to tweak the mod etc etc with little to nothing on what the modded game actually fucking looks like.
I really miss the era when you could look up how to do something and get a very long but detailed (often with pictures) set of instructions. For example game walkthroughs. Now it's a bunch of videos with a bunch of "don't forget to like and subscribe" dipshits narrating the whole thing through.
