Sure, that would be worse than a few starving people getting some bread temporarily. If the baker is dead then there will be more starving people then we started with.

Bakers make bread. Kill the baker and you got no more bread at all. Bad analogy.

I gotta be honest, the push notification summaries are more annoying than they are useful. Like. I’m going to read a text blurb of 100 or so characters. It’s an extra step to see the summary and then the actual message itself.

I just meant, for single player, the first CoD gave you a bunch of AI squad mates. It’s not something they’ve necessarily carried in to the other games, but it really just added to the realism of the battles because you felt like you were one guy in a larger conflict. Medal of Honor was always a bit more solo focused, with a few exceptions, like you were one soldier taking on the whole German army.

Both were great though and I played the hell out of them.

Medal of Honor was great, but you mostly fought alone. The innovation of the first call of duty was that you fought with a squad and it really added to the realism.

Don’t worry, no one in the US actually listens to VOA. It’s more for folks in other countries.

The Japanese have already perfected smart toilets. There is no app, but there are loads of buttons, including for a heated seat and some music or ambient sounds to help you relax and disguise unpleasant noises.

ah, it’s super confusing because I think people have started to flood the Amazon books section with books by that title.

Honestly though, I thought it was a legal tactic used by insurance companies— like taking a deposition from patients or something. Seemed like something they would do to drag out the process, run up a patients own legal bills, and avoid paying a claim. Guess I was wrong.

What industry is this?

[–] phoneymouse 1 points 2 days ago

Same, fuck that 3-3-1 bullshit.
