Checked it just now and yes it's properly seated. Checked power cables too and those are good as well. Cleared CMOS and now display defaults to 1024*768 resolution with no way to change it lol
GAMMA really elevated the games imo and upped mine (our?) expectations for STALKER 2. I haven't bought it yet, but I've been watching videos about it (including raw gameplay) and I'm definitely NOT impressed (apart from graphics and level design, but for the latter I don't have the full picture ofc).
Specifically, I'm not a fan of the very, very softcore feel it has (spotted indicator???) and of the A-life, that looks awful, basically non-existent; no real weapon names; tons of ammo; no crafting? Compared to what modders achieved with GAMMA, S2 is definitely worse overall. Compared to the OG trilogy, I still think it lacks soul and hasn't improved much on it, except for gunplay (and graphics, obviously).
I'm absolutely not sold on it and I'll probably buy it only when enough hardcore/realism mods are developed, or a GAMMA2 modpack releases lol
Those are windows not W*ndows
Oh, no I haven't tried pushing the PS button, thanks for the tip! I'll try it
Thanks. I did try just PnP but it wouldn't work. Could it be because Steam was running? I'll have to try again after closing Steam
That's a long guide! Thanks for now, I'll check it out as soon as I can!
No, yeah, I get that, I was asking about that "100% CPU usage and 70% GPU usage and if I turn details up I get a slideshow". Is this at 1440p or are you playing at 1080p?
Edit: actually, I watched some benchmarks and the RX580 should deliver some solid FPS at 1440p so the CPU is the actual bottleneck here. Go first option and that will give you a very big framerate boost
Your monitor is 1440p, are you playing at that resolution?
Apparently PoP! doesn't support Secure Boot. No idea why the system still runs and works apart from loading nVidia drivers though
