Yeah, but I chose the iOS and Android clients every day (Apollo and Sync IMHO).

I find the graphics style appealing for me.

I have been breaking my head because I remember I recently watched another interesting graphic novel for the Switch (I think so) in these days in some of my YouTube videos or perhaps some gaming podcasts that I use to frequent.

I have memories it was shown in like a Nintendo Direct along or close the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection title (that is why it surprised me to have this sudden amount of VN releases lol) and until I saw this post I thought it was the "Emio The Smiling Man" game, and now I am actually confused if it was this game all the time (although the graphics style doesn't ring the bell).

Are there any other VN games announced or released for the Switch or modern consoles that I could be confusing with?

I definitely remember it was about Japan and murders lol (really not helpful with all the VN games mentioned), but I didn't get clear if it was all fiction or if it is based in a true story (which I guess is the case, but I find that too dark for Nintendo).

What I find crazy is that they decided to pay for the API to keep using it with the few clients that operate that way, they are effectively paying for using Reddit SMFH.

Why would one even conceive that idea if you can have an ad-less experience of Reddit in desktop (Ublock Origin), iOS and Android (sideload) still.

I'm sorry I can't help, but I definitely don't see many people talking about this (and I, for one desire the RG35XXSP 🤣).

Hopefully someone else can bring some insight about this.

Yep I can confirm, I lived in my tiny reddit bubble a lot of time to care about trending shit and bots stuff.

I use Trakt, MAL and HLTB to achieve what you are looking for (I don't know what else gamefaqs delivers than HLTB, I just use the latter for adding shit to my backlog).

Hmm, I think my pick would be Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure as my brain is so used to DB characters and I don't find that game particularly hard, and I can play it in short burst yeah.

Well, once again they still hurt more the "legal" clients, nothing new really.

I still happily have my ad-less YT experience in all the devices I own (as a matter of fact, I just convinced my girlfriend to sideload a YT client to get her a similar experience of mine in her iPhone).

Same, but when I sit and do stuff in my laptop I end up procrastinating even more with it than my phone... Anyway, I block ads everywhere I can, and when I cannot, usually I have a pihole running in the background for that in my local network.

Hmm, such as?

I only have the Pro controller and the joycons.

I'm asking because I have been looking for some videos about the game Metroid Prime Hunters, these are some online gameplay videos almost since the beginning of YouTube...

I only remember them in my mind, I don't even recall specific channel names.

Is there any like archive of YT videos? Or is this lost media now?

I swear I saw something like this here on Lemmy but I can't find it.

I know android manages the RAM very differently than any desktop OS as it frees up RAM in order to have it available for other processes being third party or core ones.

I remember I saw something that you could fiddle with within the Firefox config page.

Or is it not possible on Android?

I'm using Firefox Nightly, because I think it is the only version that has a working pull to refresh.

I know it kinda defeats the purpose of using those clients, but for now I need all account stuff synced, bookmarks, open tabs and passwords.

I'm mainly trying them (mostly Cromite, because it is the most updated one) because they still have this feature within the chrome flags:

#darken-websites-checkbox-in-theme

Google got rid of this in recent updates and I use that feature a lot even when I recently discovered it lol.

I know Firefox has better support for this as it has extensions that would do this job better, I'm currently using Iceraven but I don't think it is a perfect solution as of now (I have faced some lag playing videos for example).

Relay for Reddit app stays as one of the few remaining third party apps for Reddit and they are forced to go to a subscription model but the cost of such a subscription is related to how many API calls per user are done.

This screenshot was taken from the yet working patched Sync for Reddit app.

Metroid Prime Hunters Online.

Metroid Prime Hunters Online.

I only get a unknown error message and a retry button which keeps loading forever, it seems to be working fine on my Lemmy.world account.

Lemm.ee is not down BTW.

I tried force closing the app, changing battery settings to restricted and cleaning the cache, I'm using Beta 29.

Interesting video that quickly describes the evolution of the handhelds and gives a brief mention of this beautiful world of sbcgaming!

Following the spirit of spreading across the Fediverse (and because my main instance is down so many times, because diverse reasons) I'm intrigued about the joining instance process, because I honestly don't know what criteria to have in order to join another one if I ever want to do it.

That made me curious of how you decided to join?

I firstly join to lemmy.fmhy.ml thanks to Spez and a Reddit post from FMHY subreddit, then the tragedy occurred, then I joined to lemmy.world which is/was my main one because I pictured it like a good home, then lemmy.fmhy.net revived and I am with them too, but seems like they are in a bit of trouble with the server, finally now I am in lemm.ee, but only because I just wanted another backup, not because I searched for it especially (also it was mentioned in a comment about smaller instances and one user from here throw a joke to not join here because it sucks so that way the server would be more stable, so yeah, I joined).

To be clear I am not in search for yet another instance (that sounds like a good instance name to be fair), I just want to know how the deciding process is for you, is it just random? Is it because of personal tastes?

I couldn't care less about NSFW stuff, I don't search for it specifically, but my day won't be ruined if I see a tit.

I like gaming, tech, Linux, SBC gaming, emulation, macOS, Android stuff etc (yeah how original) should I look for an instance dedicated to that if I ever want to join yet another one? Because I see topics like this in almost any instance.

I read you lemmings!

EDIT: BTW the migration process has been easier for me thanks to LASIM, so I wouldn't be scared if I ever want/have to migrate again.
