I'm not sure what this post is about

Stroll is probably my disappointment of the season. I never expected much from De Vries, but Stroll always seemed like a decent midfield driver to me, better than the "daddy bought a team for me" stigma that he has going for him. But this season he's getting obliterated by Alonso, and he doesn't seem to be able to recover.

I agree, Lawson is really making the most of his opportunity. If this continues, Ricciardo should stop eyeing at the RB seat and focus on keeping the AT one.

I don't think Yuki has been stellar enough to be an obvious candidate, though he for sure has shown improvement this season. Ricciardo only has a few races left to deliver big time, else he's just too much of a risk. Albon has been amazing this season, but I have a feeling he's commited to Williams where he has established himself as the #1 driver. Zhou might be leaving, but I don't see why RB would want him.

It's Checos own fault that we're having this discussion in the first place. He's my favourite driver, but goddamn he can't keep having these mid season slumps.

Edit: forgot Sainz. He's one of those where I'd question whether they'd want the RB seat and bow to Verstappen.

I guess, but with his broken hand he doesn't have an awful lot of races left to prove himself, and he needs to properly deliver, else the risk is just too high for RB imo. The last thing you wanna do is let Checo go and then get McLaren Ricciardo.

Who'd be a better choice in your opinion? What driver is available and actually wants the seat?

That was a risky click

Disagree, Checo does enough to secure the WCC and doesn't cost them lots of money by crashing a lot. His seat is safe as long as the RB is so far ahead.

Edit: also, as others have said: who would get the seat? None of the good drivers want it because they know they've be up against Max, and none of the other drivers is a safer bet than Checo

Red and yellow is such a cheap looking combination

See? A 22 driver grid is possible!
