Even though it’s all pretty close I think Perez should have been higher up. Lawson’s result is impressive.

I agree on Perez. Being .400 off Max is quite a bit at Monza.

He's consistently getting to Q3 now, but his qualifying still isn't as good as it should be--at least not good enough to support the team if it were a competitive season.

Albon being this close is a statement on both the Williams' performance and of the relative performance between Perez and Albon. I'm definitely rooting for Alex

I agree, Lawson is really making the most of his opportunity. If this continues, Ricciardo should stop eyeing at the RB seat and focus on keeping the AT one.

I am super excited for Ferrari but know that the race strategy will somehow fumble this fantastic qualifying for the team. I've been hurt too many times.

From what I understand they completely set the car up for quali, compromising their race-setup. And let's be honest: they were not winning on Sunday anyway, so why not go for the glory on Saturday?

Moral of the story: even if the tactics at Ferrari are outstanding (I'm kind of proud that I was able to type that without actually laughing), they are not winning tomorrow.

Can you please edit the title to also contain the year and the gp?

for some reason I swapped Piastri out for Gasly in my fantasy team... πŸ€”

God I swear that happens every time. You start feeling good about a driver and swap for them and then they have a disaster of a weekend
