Yeah, although sweet-and-sour sauce in the US typically has E129 (Red Dye No 40) rather than E127 (Red Dye No 3), which the FDA are banning. There is a whole bunch of anecdotal correlation drawn between E129 and behavior, though, so it wouldn't be a huge surprise to see it reviewed in the future.

How does the TV behave? Does it complain about not being able to update or connect, take a long time to do things, display default factory promoted content, or otherwise act hostile to you as the user?

My TV is ten years old and "smart" only in the dumbest sense. How well do modern smart TVs operate when airgapped and only using an external device for files and streaming services? Is it still painful?

I realize the question is quite general!

This reminds me that I still haven't watched God on Trial, a 2008 film about Jews in a Nazi death camp discussing whether a just god would let it happen. Saw a clip from it a while ago, and the dialogue was impeccable.

Please don't out your grandma to your friends if she doesn't want you to.

Love it! Flashbacks to Enemy (2013) and the Gonarch from Half-Life.

I did a lazy ginger beer over Christmas, but I wanted it vegan and it didn't clear in time through an extended cold crash. I put it in a plastic keg with CO2 shortly after Christmas, but I was worried about the haziness so I didn't share it for New Years either.

I used quite a lot of sugar and it fermented dry, but I didn't bother checking the OG, so I have no idea how strong it is (though I'd guess it's 6% or so).

End result: while most people I know are attempting Dry January, I'm drinking a lot of ginger beer.

That's fair, although I don't feel it's changed much for iPhone, past the first few models where the hardware improvements were most dramatic. 2011's iPhone 4S had five years of major updates supported. The 5S (2013) had six. The iPhone X (2017) is probably on its last major version at seven years. That's a slow improvement, which still deserves recognition I suppose.

I think the general criticism that new models fail to break ground like they used to, but have barely slowed down their release schedule or extended their support, is also a valid one.

But the author barely touches on that before getting distracted by "phones are too big," which they then come back to a further three times in unrelated paragraphs.

Pub buildings built on the cheap or converted (i.e. single storey, flat roof) are almost always a reliable predictor for terrible beer, aggressive clientele, and a regular light dusting of snow on the bathroom sinks.

I think the meme started with the satirical Viz magazine.

You’ll feel safe and secure in this rare Dragonscale helmet. After all, it’s virtually impossible to stove a Dovah dome, huh?

See more details on Vitaly’s ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xDN9rr

Description: Various views of an intricately-worked helmet, reminiscent of a Late Roman ridge helmet or a late Medieval lobster-tailed pot helmet. It has angular cheekpieces and a prominent ridge styled like the head and neck of a dragon. Imperial diamond patterns adorn the brow, and the neck guard is a sheet of brown-gold dragonscale.

Alt: A screenshot showing the interior of a stone-built fort, with paintings on the walls, rugs on the stone floor, and a table laden with the remnants of a meal.

Vivec is one of the most memorable cities in Morrowind’s vibrant world, for better or for worse. Many a player has spent hours searching Vivec’s cantons during missions, only to get lost in their confusingly similar passageways. For that reason, Skywind’s team has given each space its own unique, lived-in feel. In the case of the Telvanni, their canton features the Great House’s characteristic mushroom decor and blue lighting.

In Skywind’s main questline, you’ll spend a lot of time hanging around in the Sixth House’s terrifying underground lairs. As such, Skywind’s talented team has worked tirelessly to bring these iconic locations to life. We just hope that they’re sufficiently creepy for you!

Where the ashen foyadas of Molag Amur and the rolling hills of the Grazelands meet the sea, the stunning landscape of Azura's Coast is lined with rocky shores, grand basalt columns, and a host of volcanic islands. But this region is far from a day at the beach: from Tel Mora in the north to Tel Branora in the south, those who travel along these eastern shores will see the twisted and towering emperor parasols in which the enigmatic Telvanni wizards build their strongholds. And nestled between the region's rocky crevices are cave systems and ancient Velothi towers where outlaws, necromancers, and a host of otherworldly creatures lie in wait.

THE WHEEL TURNS!

Here's Skywind's latest update video, live from Creation Mod Con 2023 https://youtu.be/mIgYmIQXyvE

We've also included our livestream after-party, where we hung out and showed some of what Fate didn't select on the day.

If you’re lucky enough to survive an encounter with a Dreugh and aren’t led by your moral compass, why not put the carcass to good use? This parrying buckler was designed by DalSifoDyas and modeled and textured by Mykola Pavlovets. It’s what the creepy squid-man would have wanted. Probably.

With their powerful bite and swinging claws, Daedroths are fearsome servants of the Daedric Prince Molag Bal. As one of the “Bad Daedra” in the Dunmeri House of Troubles, Molag Bal is considered a cruel and dangerous force by the people of Morrowind. In Skywind, you’ll encounter several of these creatures as they carry out his bidding and tell them “after a while, crocodile!” by bashing in their beautifully modeled heads with an enchanted battleaxe.

To see more details of Jon’s incredible work on this model, check out his ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/qeNxaD

Some of you may remember that we already had a Daedroth model that deviated more substantially from the Morrowind design. We certainly won’t waste it; we’ve got plans to use the existing model elsewhere in a more unique way.
