TL;DR it'll be in the National Exhibition Centre just ~~west~~ east of Birmingham this year, it's been held in lots of different places historically, and there's no reason to think it won't come back to London in the future.

Giant hogweed really is quite large, often more than head-height - you're more likely to confuse carrot with cow parsley or hemlock or maybe yarrow, I'd have thought.

Seriously! They're the biggest land carnivores bar none. If you're 5' - 5'6" a bigger polar bear will be able to look you levelly in the eye while on all fours* and on its hind legs, it'll be more than half your height again.
