Discourse thrives from a variety of voices, and as a leftist myself it seems silly you work so hard to silence voices you and I have so much in common with, while there are much more important fights. Leftist infighting is as much a threat to the movement as is the capital and its lackeys.

I can vibe and have good discourse with anybody on the left, except Tankies. Hell, I myself would be all too happy to see the fall of capitalism in my lifetime, but Tankies are "left in name only" authoritarians and generally just spread misinformation, pro-CCP/pro-Russia propaganda and the denials of all the negatives about them.

And frankly, have no place on the Fediverse at large, Lemmy is open source so if they want to have a platform they can, but the wider Fediverse does not and id argue should not facilitate that kind of crap.
