IIRC you never actually have to shoot any of the civilians in that level, but as players we all assumed that you did. IMO that level was the most interesting commentary that has been made in the COD series because it (somewhat sneakily) put the onus onto the player. Most of us just assumed that we needed to gun down the civilians without choice. In my opinion its one of the more poignant moments in the entire series for how it handled such a grim story beat.

If you have the patience for it, try playing on a much harder difficulty. The medium and low difficulty levels don't provide the same weight. Many systems in the game are unnecessary at lower difficulty levels but higher difficulty forces you to engage in them to get the extra edge over certain encounters.
Higher difficulties force you to engage in potion brewing, reading up on enemies, and making genuinely tough choices morally in order to keep Geralt alive. Lower difficulties remove all the tension from these systems.
Also as another user mentioned, don't skip any dialogue and engage in the side quests/contracts as they give a lot of unique flavor and nuance to the world and story.
I really like Kaos and this is a bummer. Really goes to show that I shouldn't get into any Netflix series until it's all finished. Guess that one's on me for thinking they wouldn't cancel a well received show like this again...
The sideways monk
Ticketmaster and Live Nation already fighting dirty on this lawsuit by paying Vox to write this article. Expect a lot more articles like this as they try to sway public opinion for their lawsuit.
Who let the dogs out?
I think this belongs everywhere
I honestly think it's extremely good against terminids. Really helpful to get out of a tight situation or to get up on a rock and cheese for a minute
Dredge
Had no idea what to expect going into it. Had only heard that it was a cosmic horror fishing game and decided to give it a try. Ended up loving it!
Not a huge game in terms of scope but feels it nailed every mechanic and the art style and delivery is top notch
I'd almost say it's the opposite... U2 is a decent band, but nothing too special. Bono has a strong reputation as a philanthropist doing good for the worlds charities.
For tech deck enthusiasts
I thought it was good and fun but have decided to shelve it for a while to give the devs time to finish it. In its current state it feels similar to playing Fallout 4. I think once A-Live is fully implemented it will be a much more interesting game to play.
I played cyberpunk at release and it left a sour taste in my mouth, to the point that I don't think I'll ever replay cyberpunk (even though I understand that the game is largely fixed now). I think by holding off on playing Stalker 2 I'll get to play something closer to the devs original vision of it without spoiliing the game for myself.
