I ended up having some time today to dig this thing out of my camping gear. It's musty rusty and crusty but it's poked a lot of holes in fuel cans. Haven't camped in years some of this is really taking me back.

It burns wood. When the house was built, it was exclusively heated with wood. It sucks to keep this thing going all day, especially if it's especially cold or windy. Fortunately we have the magic of a natural gas furnace to keep warm, and you can't beat wood for ambience.
I'm so grown up that I don't have to resort to slinging insults. Obviously it's humans doing the consumption. I'm saying that 1, overpopulation has been a eugenicist talking point forever; and 2, that cold blooded, infinite growth, profits-over-planet consumerism is what makes our society unsustainable, not necessarily the population.
