Well that was what I thought too until I saw a very nice write-up by covert cabal on youtube, they basically surver all tank stocks in russia since years, and now there are, according to them, no good ones left (so easy to refurbish) only 700 in bad shape and the rest is literally rusty carcasses.

Sure, but if it's so underdimensioned that it can only go one time, then it's seriously not good enough for passengers. If the fibre sits correctly it should be able to cycle lots of times, not necessarily having a long lifespan. But yeah this was a shitshow and I stand by the idea that they should have tested it, even several times without living beings inside.

Sure, but I think your ram swap won't do much, and with too nany upgrades better roll an amd mobo + proc I think.
So I stick to my guns, SSD (there are 1tb evo samsung for dirt cheap) & a better CPU (and thus maybe a beefier PSU), more and I'd personally reroll with as said a newer amd kit
But well, that's just my gut feeling:-)

I'd go SSD for convenience but the real bottleneck here is the CPU! You got DDR4 with a wheezy i3. Chuck in a 8500 after checking the PSU is up for the extra watts.

Am I crazy or are they going to run out of tanks in like 50 days? For what I have heard they only have 700 left in bad shape (to be refurbished with difficulty) the rest is worse? Not counting the handful of brand new ones per month.
