Just like his bestie Putin.

They actually don’t currently have nukes though.

Iran’s nuclear program is advanced although it lacks atomic-weapons capability, while Israel is considered an undeclared nuclear-weapons power.

This is just irresponsible warmongering from a dude who only has slogans and zero solutions.

That’s why they have to do this culture war bullshit. Their actual policies are so wildly unpopular that they have to trick people into thinking they can save them from the gay trans liberal cats and dogs or something.

I felt that this 60 minutes interview wasn’t fair AT ALL and heavily slanted toward calling the Harris/Walz campaign on the most trivial shit.

For example, calling out Walz on the few times he’s misspoke and then asking how the voters can trust him.

Fuck allllll the way off with that bush league line of goddamn questioning. It’s not comparing apples to apples to pretend Walz is some huge liar when Trump and Vance lie literally every time they open their mouths with egregious, dangerous and racist lies. It’s disingenuous and ridiculous “reporting”.

Same with saying Harris’ plan would hurt the economy. Trump had Obama’s economy served up to him on a silver platter, tanked it (partial credit to Covid and the war in Ukraine as aggravating factors), and is pretending it’s all the Biden-Harris administration’s fault. Macroeconomically America is recovering from its recent economic downturn, similarly to Canada. Maybe, just maybe, the middle class is not feeling this because of wage suppression, corporate greed, price gouging and purposeful, weaponized incompetence by the Republicans in Congress.

I don’t know enough details about her particular circumstances to make a comment in that regard.

I would never invite the police into my home absent a warrant. The conversation would be discontinued as soon as they could not charge.

I understand she’s upset but being emotional about it and yelling about it is not helping her long term. IANAL but don’t talk to the cops without sound 3rd party representation.

I agree with her filming, however.

I don’t think he has two brain cells to rub together to think. He’s repeating what warhawks have told him.

Don’t beat yourself up. The hardest and best lesson I ever learned is that you cannot control the actions of another adult, full stop.

Even when you know they are on a destructive path. Even when you have the answers.

You can voice your concern and keep trying to do so, but you cannot control what another adult does or chooses not to do.

It’s not on you to keep another adult safe. Don’t put that on yourself.

I’m so damn tired of this terrorist state.

Take it one step further and that sense of wonder is why I feel the powers that be reacted swiftly to squash psychedelics and shut down all research into them, unless the research benefitted the national security cartel, of course.

It’s difficult for rulers to maintain capitalist control when you can eat a piece of paper and have the wonders of the universe revealed to you and realize that it’s supposed to be about loving other humans. Makes neverending consumption and 9-5 work seem really lame in comparison.

My city has a local company that rents storage units and they have entirely too many locations relative to the population of our city such that I believe they’re a criminal enterprise. I believe they construct so many new buildings for money laundering purposes and to facilitate human trafficking and drug running out of them.

Breaking news, I just googled them and one of the owners was convicted in his 20s of trying to sell poached falcons to Saudi Arabian royalty. The plot thickens.

Yes exactly. In his mind Trump = America. There is no separation. Americans are super close to having a king again 😬

Trump often uses the Royal “we” to confuse. When he does this he’s talking about himself.

So when he talks about “the last election we ever have” He means the last election HE will have - because he’ll be too old and in jail and unable to run again.

This is also projection - recall that he urged voters they’ll only need to vote one more time. He 100% will attempt to install himself and his family as permanent dictators if elected and the Supreme Court will let him do it. Don’t believe he won’t and don’t believe Republican lawmakers aren’t craven enough to facilitate this. He looks up to Putin and Kim Jong-Un because he thinks they have a sweet deal as dictators for life.
