If they just stay home, that's half the battle..

What if it's a new couple of two homeowners who move in together, should they sell one property before the relationship solidifies?

What if the grandchildren are in secondary school when Nana dies, is the family allowed to hold on to this second property for the few years until the kids move out/in?

What if you accept a contract position in another town, should you be forced to sell and buy, or is it okay to rent out the home you have and rent another elsewhere?

My point is that there is nuance at the lower end of the scale, and the enemy is big corporations and landlords of massive portfolios.

Leasehold is a type of property where you rent the land for a really long time (decades), and build your house on it. Every few years you extend the lease so it has no risk of running out. You don't know how much the landlord will charge you, or indeed if they extend, although there are some legal protections for leaseholders.

They said sooner will pigs fly than a black man be the president of the US, and then in 2008, swine flu.

I don't have anything to add other than an anecdote:

I got permabanned from /r/askhistorians for having a "vulgar" username. Yeah, this one that I'm using now. I had been lurking for years, one time I commented a thank you to someone's reply, and bam! I was gone.

Is that the UK or US date format?

I agree with this, and so should everybody else.

She thought she'd make a quick buck doing a stock photo shoot, and bam! innuendo.

I would never sell my photos, not because of the heartbreak if nobody would want to buy them, but because I wouldn't want to be neither the face of incontinence or erectile dysfunction, nor do I want to become the next Hide The Pain Harold or Distracted Boyfriend.

Maybe next time you could try lower heat for longer. Or not, if this is not for you, you do you.

I always liked this method. It’s crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside.

Huh, interesting article, thanks!

the study didn’t attempt to determine whether people more oriented toward the common good are simply more likely to ride bikes, or whether riding bikes actually increases people’s interest in the common good.

I'd be curious which is the chicken and which is the egg.

Hah, my work is similar, that's brilliant actually.

As I'm writing this comment I'm using words often used by William Shakespeare, Winston Churchill, Lady Gaga, as well as words featured in the King James Bible.
