Hello there! Well no post was deleted. Its infact the after-effect of when lemmy updated from 17.x to 18.0. The admin already mentioned it .

People reading this, aren't you just a ray of sunshine with your 8% survival rate?

[–] Puzzlehead 5 points 1 year ago

looks like none unless you have an account on threads or log into your account using threads. The latter one would be an interesting honeypot

Just a random thought flashed through my mind that once Cliff and David were done with the space mission, back on the earth how hard it would have been for Cliff to prove David guilty?

I saw this in another thread on /c/Showerthoughts. I think it's important for this to be circulated widely so that the broader Fediverse community is aligned. We don't want admins second-guessing their decisions when users start infighting. We should be united in our thinking and ready to protect our platform.

The amount of apps being developed for iOS / Android is getting really crazy now and new apps keep popping up every day. Updated list below:

  • Artemis (iOS, Android, kbin, lemmy): link
  • Memmy (iOS, lemmy): link
  • Mlem (iOS, lemmy): link
  • Morpha (iOS, lemmy): link
  • Thunder (iOS, Android, lemmy): link
  • Beyond (iOS, Android, kbin, lemmy): link
  • Limbo (iOS, Android, lemmy): link
  • Jerboa (Android, lemmy): link
  • Slide (Android, lemmy): link
  • Sync (Android, lemmy): link
  • Unnamed (kbin): link
  • Connect (Android, lemmy): link
  • Summit (Android, lemmy): link
  • Lemmynade (Android, lemmy): link
  • WefWef (Web App, lemmy): link

Most apps on the list are lemmy apps, meaning they don't work with kbin. Artemis is specifically designed to work with kbin, not sure if or when any of the other ones will go in that direction or become interoperable as there are some challenges with the kbin API at the moment. Having said that, a new API is in the works (https://codeberg.org/Kbin/kbin-core/pulls/357) so things should get better with time. Some of the apps are in very early stage of development so it may happen that they adjust OS availability and platform support.

Hi Lemmyfolks,
I'm currently using the Jerboa client for Lemmy. I'm curious to know what other 3rd party clients people are using?

what if we get a tab or option so an instance can combine all the posts of duplicate named communities with every possible instance it can federate with and show it in one place? I mean yes there might be challenges to achieve that but why not!??

I just finished watching Season 6. I was expecting the same realistic, grounded, futuristic stories as in previous seasons, but this time, the show took a more metaphoric approach. I liked the new flavor that Charlie Brooker added, but in that one episode it felt too fictional for Black Mirror (yes metaphorically it was spot on but still). I so wanna share my thoughts but being mindful of the spoilers as of now esp for the ones using mobile app lol.

But honestly I did enjoy. Full credits for the soundtracks choice. The majority were impeccable and blended soo nicely with the scenes. I've compiled a Spotify playlist of all the songs. I've also linked to a site that lists the songs episode by episode.

I hope you enjoy the season!

We've noticed that our current platform lacks a proper spoiler tagging system, and we understand how important it is to preserve the surprise for everyone. We're actively working on finding a solution, but we need your help!

If you have any ideas or suggestions for an alternate way to handle spoilers on our platform, we'd love to hear them. Please share your thoughts in the comments below. Together, we can brainstorm and find a temporary workaround until we have a more permanent solution.

In the meantime, we kindly ask all members to be considerate and mindful when discussing plot details, twists, or significant spoilers. Let's use vague or general terms to avoid spoiling the experience for others. Remember, surprises are an essential part of Black Mirror!

Thank you for being part of our amazing community, and let's work together to maintain the excitement and intrigue of Black Mirror!

EDIT: We can rely on the spoiler button (can be found along with the formatting/styling buttons) as spotted by @[email protected] but its highly suggested that we don't go with the spoilers for now as mobile app (Jerboa) doesn't support spoiler toggle currently
