A new direction, not bad. (self.blackmirror)

I just finished watching Season 6. I was expecting the same realistic, grounded, futuristic stories as in previous seasons, but this time, the show took a more metaphoric approach. I liked the new flavor that Charlie Brooker added, but in that one episode it felt too fictional for Black Mirror (yes metaphorically it was spot on but still). I so wanna share my thoughts but being mindful of the spoilers as of now esp for the ones using mobile app lol.

But honestly I did enjoy. Full credits for the soundtracks choice. The majority were impeccable and blended soo nicely with the scenes. I've compiled a Spotify playlist of all the songs. I've also linked to a site that lists the songs episode by episode.

I hope you enjoy the season!

I agree. The overall vibe was pretty different.

But the first episode was incredible. The Irish story was a bit too generic murder mystery. But then the paparazzi story was an amazing twist in the tale.

Overall, it was fun.

What do you mean by more symbolic approach?

like use of the metaphors, esp in Mazey Day and Demon 79. Edit: I have edited the post, metaphor is the better word
