The correct unit of measure for this situation is the couric which this scale is clearly not using.

It looks similar, but no, that’s not a Steam Deck

I can’t stand to use a touch screen for anything 3D, however I can tolerate 2D gaming that way with an on-screen controller overlay. I almost never use my phones for gaming though.

I’m in South Carolina, so that wouldn’t work so well here since everyone already knows what that means. I do agree that not giving them the opening to elaborate is key.

I’ve often said that in order to redirect a conversation because I don’t like the opinion of the person I’m talking to and not because I’m actually ignorant about the subject.

This happens at work mostly, and I can’t just nuke that bridge with the person because we have to keep being able to work together. I’d like to tell them off for being ignorantly intolerant, but instead it’s more effective to just take away their enthusiasm for whatever they’re talking about. Do it enough times and they’ll eventually find someone else to bother.

All of Lemmy is a Linux help community. Okay, not c/linuxsucks, but everything else.

Voyager has this too, and I’ve put it to great use recently.

Bethesda responded to the news with a shrug, stating they plan to continue shipping games where characters randomly clip through floors anyway. "Our physics engine has evolved beyond the concept of walking," said a spokesperson while slowly sinking into their office floor.

Valve Corporation fired back by immediately filing their own patent for "not releasing games people want," with a spokesperson noting they've been perfecting this technology for over a decade.

I never argued the movies were good

I feel the same way, but the Clone Wars animated series really changed my opinion on what Lucas was going for with Anakin's fall. The movies didn't execute on the idea all that well, but when you add in the extra background the Clone Wars added, I think it made a lot more sense.
