Does this fit the theme of the community? I can't spot how it is photoshopped, unless you count the caption and watermarks.

I'm not sure what here shopped either. I'll make a post to discuss the rules and the theme.

The rule is post any BS edits. This was an old public service announcement with the text changed using Photoshop. That's within the rule. I'm happy to comply with any additional rules you feel are necessary to maintain your aim for the community though.

Oh, I see the caption is edited, and not added. The sidebar allows this, and I think the posts so far are fine anyway.

I opened a meta post for rule discussion, I'll probably have the community vote what what kind of content we will go for. Until the sidebar changes, whatever bs edits is the rule in effect.

It's all good! I didn't realize you were going for surrealism. In that case, no this doesn't really fit.

I saw your post about additional rules, and I proposed one there.

We can allow multiple different things. Barbie Doom, etc. don't fit what I said there, but I enjoyed them regardless.

Trivia:

almonds "smell like" cyanide because cherry pits have it naturally occurring, and back when Maraschino was stewing them to make his liqueur, one of the corners that was cut in the process was pitting the cherries beforehand.

Later, when Maraschino began making the cherries as a garnish product, pitting became necessary and the flavor was boosted by almond extract. Hence, oldschool "cherry" flavor is mostly almond, in actuality.

Interesting. Why did they need to "boost" the flavour? Had people gotten fond of the liqueur, and expected the garnish to taste the same?

Correct, yep. The garnish floated on the established brand name of the liqueur.
