We hired a second person that does what I do and I got an 8% raise shortly after. Come to find out the new person got hired making 20% more than me. About a year later I finished a graduate degree and was told no, and very shortly after that we went on a company wide pay freeze. Things are looking up company wise, though, so I expect the next raise discussion to go differently, but I'll be leaving if it doesn't.

All that to say I have made it a point to slow down my deliverables since I was denied that last raise.

Good point. The prices are much lower on the direct Chinese sites, too. If you want you can even go the other direction and pay 10-15% more by buying from Amazon drop shippers on ebay.

Hades 2 is in early access, but it's already very polished. They're releasing more areas with each patch, but it honestly already feels like a complete game.
