If you mouse over the character your controlling and hit X, there will be a very limited list of choices, one of which is to ungroup.

50k scholarship he didn't actually need that then couldn't go to someone who actually needed it.

Why does it matter if he's 24 when he already had hundreds of thousands of dollars in the bank? He could have easily paid his own way but lied and said he needed the scholarship and said he couldn't afford school without it. His own tax returns have shown that was a lie...

Debt relief can literally change lives right now. Long term changes are important, but the positive impact on actual current living situations is huge.

You seem to be implying that the only "real" working class people are rural. Do all the working class folks that live in the burbs and cities not count?

Yeah that's right. They combined your character sheet and inventory when you use the controller layout. That's where some of the quirks come in for sure

They completely redesigned the UI for when you're using a controller. I've been playing on Steam Deck and I love it. You can walk around with a thumb stick or point and click your way around. Abilities and inventory are auto added to radials that you can customize and reorganize however you like. There's a "search" function that helps you dig through any stuff in your immediate area vs trying to point and click your way over each piece.

There are some minor quirks but overall it's awesome.

What does SM even stand for? I haven't seen that one before

"The platform shows that ad to you because algorithms think you're interested in seeing"

There's your answer right there. The platform sees what you're interested in and serves up this ad. "You seem to be interested in a whole bunch of Nazi shit, here's an ad for my product" is not a good look for most companies. It's very simple PR.

There's also other environmental things you can use to your advantage. Some of the bridges and wooden platforms are rickety and can be collapsed by attacking the support. You can also set up your own "traps" by smashing water on the ground and electrifying or freezing it when enemies are on it. Same goes for greasing the floor, makes creatures slip but it's also flammable. Sometimes I'll try to set up potential traps in strategic locations by leaving wine/alcohol/alchemist fire on the floor so I can hit it with a fireball later on for a big boom... So much fun

Controller support is actually quite cool. Seems like they built a whole new layout just for controllers (which makes sense because they're gonna have this on Xbox/PlayStation). It's a bit off putting after coming from DoS2 but quickly grows on you.

I want to try and see if I can use the track pad as a mouse instead of the thumb stick though. Would make exploring and navigating menus a bit faster..
