Lots of weird and interesting items in this quick overview video: youtu.be/Yb6XAaIXO1U
The props range from the Timothy mug to Julie Mao’s protomolecule body and everything in between. What’s the strangest or coolest item you see on the list, kopeng?

At SDCC today (July 21st), Telltale Games hosted a panel discussion about the upcoming prequel game series that they're developing with Deck Nine.

I wasn't there, but I noticed two fans' tweets reporting that Telltale announced that the Avasarala character will appear (in DLC, one said).

In The Expanse's title sequence, there's an image of a melting glacier. I affectionately call it "Steven's Strait".

It's in the north west of Greenland.

An amazing piece of music and a beautiful intro sequence that says so much.

Let’s appreciate the Martian congressional republic and its history. I would love to hear your thoughts about the possibility of establishment similar entity in the future. What’s your opinion on this topic, and how do you think the future colonization of Mars will look like?

Oye Fedilowda!

In The Expanse universe, there are forums that are propagated over high-latency links. Different forums are eventually consistent so that everyone can see all the same content.

The only real difference is that a private message in our universe goes to the specific server for the recipient, whereas in The Expanse, a message is encrypted and broadcasted and relayed until the recipient is able to retrieve it from their local node (yes, this is possible cryptographically).

If it feels like The Fediverse is the future... that's because it is.

A couple weeks ago the neighbor commented on the Tycho Station sticker on my pickup truck and told her it's because it's named Fred because it's the Ranger of Anderson Station. Then I asked if she'd seen the Martian Marine Corps sticker on my wife's Mazda, Bobbie. She hadn't but it turns out the neighbor's car is the Roci.

I may have just created a discussion group (a "magazine") for #TheExpanse over on #kbin, which is a fediverse alternative to #reddit https://kbin.social/m/TheExpanse @TheExpanse #RedditMigration
