I watched Daft Punk's Interstellar 5555 AI remaster when it was in theaters recently. Granted this is an anime, not live action. I think the source footage they used was probably standard definition, but overall I'd say it was a net negative experience. There were time it would look good but when it looks bad, which is often (particularly in the background or on small objects) it's incredibly distracting

To put it another way, the bad had a bigger impact to me than when it looked good. But then again, this is an anime and is probably pretty low frame rate especially compared to sitcoms which from what I recall probably run around 60p, so it might look better

Is this Charlie Brown grown up?

Yeah I've heard of issues people have with actually getting a family setup, I'm not sure what the rules are as I'm sharing with someone who lives in Europe (I'm in the us) and also someone who's on the opposite side of the US as I am

You got some other good points, but the new family system works way better now. Previously only one person was allowed to use any one persons entire library at a time, now game sharing is locked on an individual basis

Should try measuring it from the outside.. just to be sure

My reason for choosing openSUSE was admittedly shallow but I'm here to represent our team!

I'm enjoying it so far, I'm into my third game. It definitely is not without it's flaws but it definitely scratches the "one more turn" itch for me. I like the new mechanics but what remains to be seen for me is how the replayability will feel compared to 5 & 6

I remember that one, my dad used to play it when I was a child! I should go dig out the old retro hardware..

Is there a box PC version of the standard edition? Even if it's just a game code in the box, I like the other stuff physical copies usually come with

I'm in the middle of reading it right now, this post is hilarious

I just signed up after seeing an article saying links to the website are being blocked by Instagram (IIRC). I figured it must be worth looking into if they've gone that far

Finally got a cast iron takoyaki pan, it works so well!

I didn't grow up listening to this but I did grow up listening to daft punk. Todd Edwards also worked on Face to Face which is one of my favorites from DP. Been getting more into house recently and I found this song of his, it is legendary

I recently bought a SSDPE2KX080T851 (NVMe U.2) drive to install in my Asus Z690-A i7 12700k PC. I bought a M.2 to U.2 adapter since my motherboard doesn't have native U.2. When I install this into my motherboard Windows throws out BSOD for Kernel Security Check Fail.

However, if I use the device in an M.2 to USB adapter it works fine (That is daisy chained U.2 > M.2. > Usb)

I thought maybe I was running out of PCIe lanes so I took out one of my existing M.2s and put this one in place but it still BSODs. And to be clear, it boots just fine as soon as I remove the new U2 ssd.

Since the adapter works fine when plugged in the USB, I think it is some kind of motherboard compatibility. I am also out of hardware PCIe slots so if I wanted to get a PCIe to U2 I would have to remove one of those. My BIOS is up to date. Unsure if my SSD has an ability to update.

Any ideas?

Edit: should also mention the drive is recognized sort of in the bios, but it shows differently than the other m.2 drives

Edit 2: in case by some miracle you have the same issue as myself, I figured out the drive works just fine on another PC, so I ended up reinstalling windows on my main one and it no longer BSOD
