Dammit, this post just reminded me I forgot to get last week's game. Really wanted to play midnight suns.
HeyJoe
Exactly, none of them would ever want this. I will never understand taking a position on something where I don't immediately put myself in that position first. People suck...
It's so good we will get it twice this year.
I feel like growing up I was really good at remembering things. Here I am over 40 and it's starting to be worrisome of the things I have forgotten. It's scary when someone brings up things that happened 20 years ago, and I struggle to remember what happened, or even worse, not remember it at all... the weird part is there are things my brain won't forget at all like when I listen to music I can recall specific songs playing, who I was with, and what we were doing like a decade ago with no problem.
I love this song. There is a lot of history behind it and it's always fun talking to people when this randomly comes on and I'm with someone. The craziest part is how almost nobody ever knows who it is until I tell them.
Same! I didn't even have a computer till the year I graduated high school because they cost too much then. Don't get me wrong, a lot of people had them. We were the odd family in the neighborhood. Not that anyone cared. Once I got one, the only social media type stuff that I remember using was AIM, Photobucket, and shudder LiveJournal. I couldn't imagine navigating the internet today where everyone has figured out exactly how to exploit you for everything without you even knowing because you are too young to understand still.
And even if that guy they hire is really good, there is still a large period of time where that person has to learn the ropes and is most likely less useful than the person who already knew the ins and outs. Also, most of the time, they are never as good...
I shared one with friends a few years ago, I will try to find the picture.
Edit: found it!
If these are the letters sent to the GOP donars I can't wait to see this one! I moved into a house 10 years ago and I still get some junk mail from the previous owner. I think this guy was an active donar since every election period he gets the craziest mail asking for donations. A few of the previous ones were supposedly written by his son (probably not) and flat out wrote tons of lies about how at all costs we cannot let the evil democrats win because all our freedoms will be taken away from us. It was some crazy stuff.
What's going on with NJ? Does it even exist? Is it just merged with NY?
Makes you wonder, after 100 years they flag the account for review. It would also be impressive if this service still existed after that long as well. Who knows!
As someone who is also a phone system admin, if you had an older system, that feature was a pretty expensive feature to add on. We never purchased it because to buy what was needed to do it would've costed a ton. We did recently switch to a cloud pbx a few months ago and the one advantage I've seen is most of the high end features seem to be more readily available and cheaper when bundled with their packages so we finally got a lot of these options. RIP are the days of on prem systems.
I guess my point is I would imagine a lot of places still use older systems possibly and will wait as long as possible before upgrading and probably do not have the call back feature.
