I found Siri suggestions to be such a pain I gave up on them and just swipe down for control center, tap home and use those buttons.

Why not edit the title to “as of Time” when it updates. That would be a cool way to take advantage of the Lemmy feature Reddit never had (but needed)

Time will tell. Wait 12 months then let’s see the membership and profits reported.

Interesting. Yes I’ve been out of the Mech world for a few years focusing on other hobbies. Thanks for correcting me!

Based? Are you saying I’m biased? I’d be happy to discuss

I’m not sure this makes any sense. Drop is a company that doesn’t even “make” anything. Maybe their logistics department is impressive but the entire purpose of them is (or was maybe I’m out of the loop) - to bring flash/surge discounts to purchasing offers (it’s basically group-buy concept commercialized) and yes they are popular in many niche markets for bringing custom options to market- but they did this by having the original manufacturers make it for them.

So what’s the point. You’re already Corsair, you have a stronger market presence in the keyboard space? Is this going to cost all of us because they will no longer focus on other communities like headphones?

I guess I’ve answered my question, mergers always cost the consumers.

What an amazing match to watch.

I haven’t tried it yet, but with past Betas, I usually would not head into them at this point, too much risk it would have work-day impacting bugs but if it’s stable maybe I’ll give it a try. I really want to try WatchOS and you can’t do that without iOS

Sure. It’s art just like many digital tool assisted products came before it. Is it always difficult art to make ? No but who cares. It’s OC as long as the source of this AI art is the person posting.

I don’t usually discuss business on something like Reddit but since Lemmy feels more natural, I’m willing to say that I have a tech consulting business (Not in Alabama) but we work with clients all over. You could have a consulting session with me if that was helpful, we could discuss the state of Building PCs, current social media trends and hosts to become familiar with, and a general approach to teaching kids these skills (which I have done many times over the years). DM me if you are interested.

But for some free guidance, YouTube will be a wealth of knowledge. There are many great hosts and channels that you can learn a lot from.

  • Linus Tech Tips is excellent, but the content you’ll be looking for will be from a few years ago

  • Gamers Nexus is super informative but will have a learning curve to understanding all the points he is making

  • jay’s two cents used to be a wonderful channel but I haven’t seen much from him recently.
