2023 has been quite an year of revelation, showing the true nature of these scummy corporates. Lets learn our lesson and not jeopardize ourselves by trusting them.

A step in the right direction.

As many have pointed out, it isn't really our choice, since we have to get along and use what most people around us use.
The only solution I see is if the government mandates every messenger to use a common protocol allowing all to co-operate.

Sorry about that, it took a while for me to understand the joke so I thought it would help to put the gist of it in the title.

Now for the actual reason, I wanted to post without a title, but lemmy doesn't allow that, so I put that there without much thought (⁠☉⁠｡⁠☉⁠)⁠!
