is it really corpo corruption? majority of ai art 'enthusiasts' do so in the guise of 'democratizing' art but they harrass artist by scraping their work and dming them that they will be out of jobs and will die poor.

i've read the books and loved it as a sci fi fan. however the first book is the weakest but the most important to establish its premise as a low sci fi story.
when russia does the invade i believe that. but now ukraine have to break through heavily fortified occupied territories. idk how ukraine can manage with current donations and if they still have enough manpower. ukraine also suffers heavy casualty
i never thought i'd see ragnarok reference in lemmy. i always go back to that game once every 5 yearish. they really dont make games like that nowadays.
imo min maxing only starts as a problem when you can share your build to the masses, we dont really like seeing something done for less than the absolute max efficiency. even in games that dont have much build (ffxiv for example) people still blacklist certain jobs or 'build' even though it only have like couple minutes of difference between clear times. sites like fflog or wow equivalent are cancer.
on the other hand. if you make every silly build viable it makes the game really easy and may not cater to many people.
imo the solution might lie in other aspects of the game like social and other unorthodox content, but im not sure if any dev is willing to make such a risky system.
in Indonesia the gov blocked 'porn' sites or any sites that have porn like reddit or imgur. it results in many websites that have nudity even in art form or medical nature getting blocked. at times this includes tumblr and even netflix but now its relaxed its stance a bit, for netflix at least.
rumour has it they even block some sites that have 'anti muslim' propaganda, however i don't know the validity of this claim yet but im not surprised if it the case.
the cencorship has been going for a decade now and its getting stricter each year.

in my experience the connection is really spotty and sometimes it disconnects on its own even if its just less than a meter away from the deck. so its really unusable
i have a small hand so its size is non factor to me
