I did ride hard for it but I switched to something similar but without the social aspect(openreads) as it was getting too much for me to manage another social platform.
Flip a coin to see if it gets dropped from the transport as a ball of fire before even touching the ground.
The breaker, shield pack, and railgun were all items I needed to take to do any mission higher than lvl 7 if I didn't want to be a backpack to my team.
And these were the things they nerfed. Seems to make sense to me what the numbers were saying. I felt I NEEDED to take these items to succeed which felt lame and "gamey" so I am glad to see the changes.
Kind of agree. I think part of the magic with this game is not knowing what is going to happen or what comes next.
I guess that is true I hadn't thought of that. I did end up winning technically when calculating the CR which I was not expecting, likely due to the rank bonus.
Yeah I feel like that does make sense. It just felt weird having all the rest of my 15 man squad standing around doing nothing. My opponent did mention if your unit could just fight back it would basically remove the incentive to challenge as you'd just get clubbed to death after.
I appreciate your insights I did not know that is how it worked in previous editions.
I understand where you are coming from I just personally feel it is still kind of scummy. Regardless of if they are good or not and whether or not you can eventually get them from randomly finding premium currency. At the end of the day weapons are a gameplay feature that affects gameplay rather than purely cosmetic options. That is where I feel it crosses a line, personally.
Saw this and tried the game. It is fine but what is not fine is the battery drain. 25-30% per charge is way too high to justify playing this game, sadly.
