Warhammer 40k

I’m not usually in to collectors editions but I think they knocked it out of the park with these. Very classy. 💯

My son is starting to get into Warhammer and so far he's learned the mechanics of Age of Sigmar, but he still isn't sure what road to go down. Normally he'd go for whatever my brother in law is into (he introduced him to MTG, obviously the gateway drug) but he's not deep into Warhammer yet (BiL was gifted a Necromunda squad) so my son will have to figure it out for himself.

Assuming most people here picked 40k over Age of Sigmar, I'm curious to know what motivated your choice? He's painted a few random figurines he was gifted, but is now giving serious thought into going further. We'd welcome any tips on where to start!

Had this team built and primed since Into the Dark. It’s about time I finished them 😅

This is my last squad of Custodes for a while as they round out my army! Hoping we eventually get some plastic dreads in the future because I really enjoy this color scheme.

Title says it... Finally got around to painting some Epic: Armageddon Warhounds that I still had lying around. Can't wait to field them against my son's 'Nids.

Love me some Chaos Cult, some of my favorite models. I was lucky enough to score the Ashes of Faith Kill Team box to get the full team. IMO they’re one of the most thematic Kill Teams.

Spending way too much time on this Volkus terrain, but happy with how it’s coming out.

Been painting a lot of AoS lately and kiiiinda miss doing 40K. This was one of my favorite projects, especially doing up industrial bases.

Tried my hand at a power sword effect on my Crimson Fists Company Champion. It didn't turn out thr smoothest but I'm pretty happy with it, definitely going to try again on my bladeguard.
