New Community for GIF memes (lemmy.world)

I am not too sure if this is the best place to post this, but I figured I'd share it.

Across Lemmy, I've noticed that the meme format has been restricted to images only (for obvious reasons). Well, I found a community today that is dedicated to expanding that format into GIFs. The community name is [email protected]. One of my favorite parts about the internet is the sharing of memes, so if any of you share this interest, I encourage you to subscribe to this community and start contributing! I was the first one to subscribe to it on this instance so everyone else should be able to see it now.

TBH I'm not someone who wants to be a big mod for something but I didn't see anyone else create this so I thought I'd get the ball rolling. Anyone who's a big fan of GIF style memes and likes modding can feel free to ping me.
