Humans be like OMG this dog so stupid, but you guys need months or even years to develop object permanence. Pathetic!

This dog never developed it.

Don’t dogs navigate with their noses? Cover up the scent and they’re left confused. This reminds me of when a dog sees their reflection and their eyes tell them there is another dog but they can’t pick up their scent. Adorable

Dogs have object permanence, but boxers have a tendency to be... special (to put it nicely).

My best all-time dog was my boxer. Sharp as a bag of doorknobs.

My sister has had two boxers. They are very friendly but a bit dim witted.

My malti-poo is the same way. Very loving but not too smart. My cat is way smarter than the dog.

You can say they operate on a different wavelength/frequency xD

As a friend of mine put it about his Boxer, "It's as dumb as a Box. It's a BOXer!"

"Special"= Inbred and stupid. When your family tree has no branches, shit happens.

Don't pay for inbred "purebreds" people. Mutts are healthier, smarter, behave better and live longer.

Yeah, that's the part I was avoiding saying.
