Hi,

I follow @[email protected] on Mastodon, and they announced that they were creating a Lemmy instance. When I asked how to view it I was told:

Got to "Communities" in your instance and search for

https://lemmy.kde.social/c/kde

This doesn't seem to work for me. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

If your instance isn’t federated with it yet, it will take a few minutes for it to show up. Even then, it won’t show up when you search for the url- search for kde.

FWIW, I’m using wefwef to browse lemmy on my phone, and I simply tapped that link they told you to search. Took me straight there.
