That's one tough game. Only finished it once, in easy mode, back in the day. Don't think I can beat it again now.
Suika Game, Mario Wonder, and Needy Streamer Overload. The last one has great music and i'm excited to see where it goes lol. You manage a needy mentally ill streamer.
How are you liking Suika Game? I saw the trailer but wasn't sure if I'll like it.
Just looked up Needy Streamer Overload, looks interesting. Let me summon the community's unofficial head of VNs: @[email protected] Have you played this? What do you think?
A friend of mine mentioned it to me when it was announced but I didn't pick it up yet. It does look very interesting, but might be too stressful for me right now. :D
Edit: Messaged my friend about it, he played it and liked it. High praise for the visuals and soundtrack, mentions it's a bit of "raising sim" which may be a pro or a con depending on who you ask. Also says it can be quite disturbing at times.
Ahan. Thanks for the info!
Super Mario RPG remake, got 4 stars of 7 about 6 hours in. Didn't play a lot last week due to the holiday and other stuff keeping me busy. It's pretty fun, but I'm just noticing now one unwelcome relic from the 16-bit era, no fast travel between checkpoints in a dungeon. I need to go back for items at what looks like just before a boss in an enemy-infested dungeon. Joy...
Ah, I think it's nice to be faithful to original, but these kind of QoL changes should be made to make game feel modern.
I restarted Jotun recently because I couldn't kill the final boss on the first run back in 2019. I forgot how the game goes so I restarted it last month. I forgot how gorgeous this game is. It's also made in my home province of Quebec, Canada!
I really need to play it one of these days. It has been on my list for so long, but I always look at it and go, "will play it later."
I'll be playing Splatoon as there is a big run event going on and a bit of Pokémon to do the new raid.
I recently started playing Bayonetta as well and it's a really fun game.
Ah, nice.
Which Bayonetta? The first one? That's the only one I have played yet, though the sequels are on my wish list.
Yes I started with the very first one.
This is me, every time I play Splatoon. But I never seem to get the chance to use the pic as a reaction. So I'm doing it now.
Definitely how I feel when I play splatoon.
Finished Super Mario RPG!
Most of my comments are on last week's post, I finished it later that same day. Great game but shows its age even with the remake.
Finished Panzer Dragoon: Remake!
Decided to beat some short games I got for cheap a while back. This is a nice old-school rail shooter with a fantastic OST, but it's very short (~2 hours to finish), so definitely don't pick it up for the normal $25 price. For the $2.5 I paid for it was good fun.
Finished Circuits!
Got this one on a friend's recommendation. Very interesting music-based puzzle game, but if you don't have a good sound setup on your living room definitely play this one with headphones - some of the pieces you have to put together have very subtle differences and can be hard to distinguish.
What are you starting next?
I was playing Broforce's campaign mode this morning, kinda want to finish it this time but it's getting very frustrating very quickly.
Not fun?
Fun game in multiplayer, but too many bullshit deaths to be really enjoyable singleplayer.
