Just checking, am I missing any Lemmy apps? My goal is to try them all. I'm mainly using Liftoff at the moment.

Trying it out right now, seems pretty nice.

I like it, but I can't get over the iPhone look and feel.

The dev said that changing to a material look and feel is as simple as switching a toggle in the framework he’s using, so hopefully you can get an Android look and feel soon.

Wow, that'd be amazing. Hopefully something they can add soon!

Nice! I'm looking forward to this change!

Also, my first post on Lemmy!

Summit

Boost for lemmy is up for pre-registration.

Also check this web app called wefwef.

There's also slide, but it's very bare bones at the moment. Think you can only really log in and view posts and comments. A lot of copy over from the reddit app which hasn't been updated yet.

Oooh, thanks!

You are missing the best one, wefwef

BC I'm an Admin maybe?

Web app for wefwef.app? It replicates the Apollo experience for Lemmy, I've personally deleted all other apps since I found this.

Wait.....fennec is a browser tho

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It was, nowadays it's been replaced by Fenix

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I thought there may be a lemmy app that was also named Fennec. I still use Fennec

[–] silentdon 4 points 1 year ago

Please update with your ranking of each app

I use liftoff mainly too. I use thunder for NSFW accounts tho.

[–] 80gp2nd 2 points 1 year ago

Thunder seems to load extremely slowly

Yeah. It's a variation of MKBHD's wallpaper that I found on the amoledbackground subreddit.

You're missing WefWef Edit: oops didn't see the other comment!

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

I tried most the same apps, and settled on Connect for now

You should also try Wefwef although it's technically not an app, just PWA

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Infinity stones

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Which do like the most at the mo?

[–] jacktherippah 1 points 1 year ago

Probably Liftoff or Wefwef.

[–] Omnimater 1 points 1 year ago

I started on jerboa for a while, but eventually the bugs got to be too much. I'm using liftoff now which I like a lot more. It's flushed out enough for now that I'll use it while the platform and apps sort themselves out then reevaluate.

[–] judasferret 1 points 1 year ago

Best list I've seen so far. Other than summit and thunder there are a couple of Web apps you don't have (see the bottom of the list) https://lemmy.world/post/465785

I just got liftoff. I'm struggling to download wefwef or thunder. I can't get my honey to leave Reddit until a lemmy app is really reliable.

[–] itsJoelleScott 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Wefwef is a webapp. Go to the following on your browser:

wefwef.app

Within the webapp it will guide you to adding it to your home screen. Then you're done!

On Android the Wefwef install works better if you use Chrome

[–] llxerneasll 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

U can download Thunder here

Isn't lemmur dead? Liftoff is a fork of Lemmur.
