Sigh, Yuki. That prob would've been best finish for AT. Both Top 10. And now he's down in 16.

[–] SuperIce 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That would've been driver of the day for me too. From 19th to 8th in the first half of the race. He needs to make fewer mistakes like these. Then again, I guess he hasn't had much experience with a car that can overtake others.

β™ͺ RETURN OF THE MARIACHI THEME! β™ͺ

[–] DV8 11 points 1 year ago

Best version of the F1 theme.

[–] espentan 21 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Perez playing the short game.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

Perez forgot he's driving a real race and not a F1 23 multiplayer race.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

Turned right into the side of a Ferrari...

[–] [email protected] 21 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Bruh, the Redbull mechanics were looking at perez as if they knew the dude is out lmfao

[–] espentan 17 points 1 year ago

That was my feeling too. "Get out, you're blocking our view of the screen".

[–] Gsicht 21 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Did we just witness the return of question, question?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

I am not sure, do you think so, question?

I'm really surprised at how well the mediums are holding on.

Checo is losing me. I don’t know if I can keep doing this. Get your shit together man

[–] dimspace 18 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children)

I think today was the day he blew it with Red Bull.

And Danny Ric's performance just makes it even worse for him. At this point I would be amazed if Checo is in a Red Bull (F1 car) next year

RB dont need someone to win races, they just need someone who can qualify well, not make stupid mistakes and finish 2nd-3rd behind Max

I am happy for Danny. What a great race. Lets go!

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

Absolute masterclass by Norris holy fucking shit

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

Charles post-race interview: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, that wasn't my fault with Checo! I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Don't hurt me!!"

[–] TastyWheat 10 points 1 year ago

That was some F1 23 level shit there Checo.

[–] dimspace 10 points 1 year ago (2 children)

That Horner/Checo chat needs a caption competition

[–] espentan 11 points 1 year ago

"So, Checo, how would you rate your performance today?"

God, I want Danny to hold on to that 4th, but there is no way in hell that Alpha Tauri can beat a Mercedes... right? I NEED SOME FUCKING COPIUM

Ocon lmao what kind of radio message was that

[–] espentan 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Ferrari: Mediums will be slower than Hards in 5 laps

Narrator: But that wasn't true..

[–] DV8 11 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

They were all of them deceived...
For another tyre was made.

[–] dimspace 9 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (3 children)

Max pit under SC? he has to, 21 second lead, cannot waste that

edit: yup

This worked out absolutely perfect for Max, especially as he was the only one with two new sets of hards

Oh Yuki, patience! You would've had him sooner or later.

I feel like Max pitted early just so he could pass some people

GOD FUCKING DAMN AGHHHH

anyways, nice move Lando it was a juice one

[–] dimspace 8 points 1 year ago

Its really hard to even get excited about the prospect of a Ferrari front row, because you just know they will somehow contrive to get in each others way, let Max through on lap one, and then make a pigs ear of their strategy and finish 5th and 6th

Well that was as predictable as the sun rising and setting.

I completely failed to predict Checo's stupidity though

[–] DV8 7 points 1 year ago

If he could have proven he could keep a cool head he might have strengthened his case but this is just dumb. He just needed to cede second, overtaken in the next laps and cruised to second for a crowd that would have adored him.

So damn unnecessary and dumb. Apart from his contract he still needs to keep second place.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago (2 children)

The mediums will die in the end, I think mercedes risk didn't pay off

That was never going to work.

RIC in red bull next year

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago

If Danny can climb to 4th, I'm going to actually lose it

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago (1 children)

He needed another lap.. damn.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

For once I agree with all 3 drivers who are in the lead for driver of the day. That last move by Norris was chef's kiss.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

Leclerc will need armed escort out of Mexico, no matter if it was his fault or not

[–] dimspace 6 points 1 year ago

Sainz puncturing after driving over Charles' end plate under VSC would have been the crowning glory.

thankfully we have avoided that fiasco :D

[–] lazycouchpotato 6 points 1 year ago

Holy shit what a bad crash for KMag. Glad he's out.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Did Sargent just box a lap early?

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

He had an issue and had to retire. Bummer for him, he was doing pretty well.
