I modded my Apollo to use my private api key, will keep that around for the time being... but the lemmy app I’m using seems good.
Reddit will likely block that or ban your account (not like the later fucking matters lol)
Spez specifically said that using your own API is “not allowed”
yeah, don’t really care. account is like 15 years old too.
Do you have instructions to modify Apollo like that?
that’s another way. i injected a dylib into the Apollo ipa that effectively does the same thing, and then sideloaded it. that method you posted might be better tho, less complicated at least.
Seconded - at least while I'm in the process of migrating to Lemmy it would be good to keep sync around! 3 days is not enough...
How did you manage that?
And the Infinity dev wants to work with those dipshits.
Devs are probably doing this to cover their ass and avoid getting billed in a few days. I’d say at this point TPA’s are joever for Reddit.

Yeah, I got rate-limited a few times today. It was a pretty sad reminder that the end is near.
I'm barely active on Reddit anyway, maybe that's why I haven't found this message.
I've not been rate limited yet which makes me feel like I'm doing pretty good not checking reddit as much as I used to.
