Mom, all the girls like me and it’s distracting. Can you fuck my shit up?

Oh gosh I hate the Flowbee with a passion. Every time it came down on my head it pulled on the hair when cutting it, causing some pain.

But my dad wanted to save some money so I had to deal with it.

This was actually my pappy doing my hair growing up. That fukkn' flowbee sucked not because it was attached to a vacuum but because my dad would constantly hit me in the head with it trying to get the correct length. He kept the blades nice and oiled tho.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a TBI as a result of a Flowbee incident

I have a colleague in his late 40s who still uses this thing. Honestly his hair looks fine, had no idea he was doing it himself.

I cut my own hair (and do a reasonable job of it, I'd say) as well as my son's, and this device would be a game changer.

If I'm remembering right his broke and there was some panic as it was discontinued but he found one on ebay.

I have never heard of the flowbee, but now that I've seen it I can only think of this

My look throughout my childhood. My mom was a hairstylist too so I have no idea why she went this route

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago

Maybe after work she was tired of hair and just wanted to do what was fastest and easiest?

Same reason professional chefs eat ramen and grilled cheese when they're not working.

I just cut my own hair, learned it from a couple of ex-gfs who had beautiful locks. They'd just flip it over in the sink and whack away.

THIS time, I let my gf cut it. "Just an inch off to get the dead ends please." CRUNCH went 4 inches.
