I do also love the subtle audio references as well.

Like the random gorn fight music playing if something dramatic and fighty happens.

Yep even the occasional jankily sliding door the crew notice like the original trek and it's not so smooth hand operated doors.

Futurama is the reason I finally started watching Star Trek.

As I watched, I saw all the references that Futurama had made which endeared both to me so much more. ☺️
