Futurama is the reason I finally started watching Star Trek.
As I watched, I saw all the references that Futurama had made which endeared both to me so much more. ☺️
You can tell how much all those nerds on the Futurama writing staff love star trek. And rightfully so!
Then the star trek episode happened and it's a top 10 episode for me
