Unacceptable behavior… even for a loss that must sting incredibly. It’s one thing to have a terrible day, it’s another to take it out on the people around you. Especially the ones working so hard to support you!

Exactly right. Completely unacceptable and Aston Martin can't allow this kind of behaviour. This, with a piss poor season, should be curtains in my opinion.

We can hope.

I wonder if his dad started to put pressure on him / his seat that made him act like that today with his personal trainer and interview.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

What happened with the interview?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Basically answered no questions and went away.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Ah OK, thanks.

It's becoming a bit of a joke keeping him on at this point. He's done some good races but he's been in the sport really long now.

Unacceptable, it’s even worse if you act this way while your dad is boss. Lawrence needs to get his kid in line, there’s no excuse for anyone getting physical with a co-worker or even worse an employee

No, no, don't you understand? His Dad bought the team. He owns all that equipment that those hard-working individuals who don't get to see their families produced. Hell, he owns those individuals. They don't get to be upset if he wants to throw his toys. They don't get to be upset if he physically abuses them. They wouldn't even have a job if it weren't for him.

(/s to defend myself from those who missed the tone)

Agreed. You don't just go pushing people around because you can't drive to save your life.

Lance is such a cunt. He's going nowhere in F1. Please Daddy Stroll, put ANYONE else in that seat!

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Lawson, if he was willing to give up his RB links.

[–] Luvs2Spuj 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Vettel Alonso, imagine. Believe

[–] aRegularNero 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Would love to see that for sure. But would Seb really want to come back?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

He didn't say no in a recent interview, but definitely not next year

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Poor dude the trainer. What the fuck is wrong with Lance? He has sucked all year, what changed now?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (2 children)

There’s actual pressure now, which he’s not had to deal with in this sport before now. Daddy is considering selling the team and when that happen lance loses his seat.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

A driver who deserves a seat would have had that pressure with his results like 1 or 2 years ago, if not longer. I guess that reality only hit him now.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Selling to who? Haven't read any news/rumours in that direction. He's still heavily investing in the team and looking at the long term.

Alonso is finally able to concentrate on his own failings rather than blaming his better compatriots like Ocon, Hamilton.

[–] xooolooov 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Since he is in rolling contract. Could the contract ended this season?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Nah, they announced over the summer he's racing for them next year.

[–] xooolooov 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Too bad for aston martin then. Alonso did really good racing with the car

[–] Squeak 1 points 1 year ago

I’m sure his Dad could have a word with him
